Use Of Data On DVD Disc
You can use an empty DVD Disc for your own use to load data on it. For example, you have your own little business at home and at the end of the year you want to keep all your administration that is currently on your computer, but your computer is starting to work a little slow.
Or maybe, you went on holiday and made a whole lot of pictures, and you would want your friends to see them as well.
In that case, it is handy that you have a couple of empty DVD Discs and a DVD burner on your computer.
A whole 4.7 GB (that stands for Giga Bit) can be loaded onto the disc. That is quite a lot of data you can put on there.
It is fairly easy to load data onto a DVD Disc. The only things you need are an empty DVD Disc, a DVD burner on your computer, the software needed and a little bit of free time. Then you can start. Open the CD burner case, slip the empty DVD in and slide it close. Open the burning software program and load in the data that you want to burn. Let it burn and then after a short while, the DVD slips out of the case and you have a brand new DVD.
It makes sense that you only put legal stuff on the Disc, not any downloads like films or music. But it is perfectly acceptable to use a DVD disc to put a whole year administration on it, or to load a whole bunch of pictures on them for your family to enjoy and for your own use.
